Integrative therapy

My outlook on healing and wellbeing integrates depth psychology, relational, trauma informed approaches, as well as ancestral healing practices that nurture the deepening of our relationship to self, others, ancestors, and the world around us.

It rests in the understanding that we are a continuum of body, mind, soul, community and environment, and it puts at the forefront our inherent worthiness, and acknowledges that we’re not separated from nature, from each other and our communities.

At the core of my orientation is the belief that healing emerges through relationship—between therapist and client, between conscious awareness and unconscious material, and between insight and lived integration. My role is to provide a stable, ethical container that supports depth, coherence, and lasting psychological change.

During a therapy session I will support you in honoring your life in its wholeness and potential. I will support your unique self expression, and guide you to deeply listen to yourself, to open your heart, honor your voice, become bigger than your wounds, and live a fully embodied life.

Life purpose and existential questioning. Anxiety and depression. Generational trauma and acculturation. The impact of systemic oppression, etc.

psychedelic integration

The work of integration after psychedelic experiences requires a wholesome approach. It is important to include body work, connection to nature, creative expression, moments of silence, slowing down, meaning making, and community connection to take the breakthroughs and insights into a grounded, life affirming, and down to earth change.

For those looking into these natural and sacred medicines for personal use, or for those who have had psychedelic experiences, in ceremonial spaces or in the legal framework, but haven't integrated the breakthroughs into their daily life, I offer the expertise needed for the preparation and integration of the opening of the mind and soul, into an embodied, living, breathing reality.

  • Integration after a psychedelic experience is crucial for several reasons, as it helps to make sense of the insights and emotions that arise during the experience and incorporates them into daily life in a meaningful way.

Refer to the blog post on integration to read more about the benefits of integration.

  • The Latin root of the word “integrate” is “integrare,” which means “to make whole.” The work of integration after psychedelic experience requires a wholesome approach. It is important to include body work, connection to nature, art, creative expression, moments of silence, slowing down, meaning making, and community connection to take the breakthroughs and insights into a grounded, life affirming and down to earth change.

My personal approach is psycho-spiritual, which means that I merge best practices from western and ancestral traditions, as well as the use of Dreamwork to relate to the visions that come with expansive states of consciousness.

“healing can be found in nature, beauty, EMBODIMENT, our shared stories and connections, our ancestry, and our capacity to dream, and imagine”
